Sara Schindler is the owner of Schindler Plumbing & Heating, a woman-owned commercial plumbing, heating, and mechanical contracting company based in Lowell, Massachusetts. Since founding the company in 2020, Sara has led the business with a clear focus on professionalism, reliability, quality workmanship, and strong client relationships.

With a background rooted in pharmacy, Sara brings a unique combination of organization, compliance, customer service, and operational leadership to the mechanical contracting industry. She recognized an opportunity to build a company that combined skilled trade experience with dependable communication, transparency, and accountable project management.

Under Sara’s leadership, Schindler Plumbing & Heating has grown from a small family-operated business into a trusted union contractor serving commercial and industrial clients throughout New England. Her vision continues to guide the company’s growth while maintaining the values it was built on: safety, integrity, craftsmanship, and service.

Roberto Carvalhais is a mechanical and plumbing estimator with more than 10 years of experience and a strong background in MEP construction, cost estimating, project coordination, and field operations. His experience includes commercial, healthcare, residential, and institutional projects. He brings a practical, detail-oriented approach to estimating, budgeting, manpower planning, procurement, and project execution. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber license, and OSHA 30 certification.

Having started her career as a field apprentice, she brings strong technical expertise to her role and connects design planning with on-site execution. Kimberly holds Journeyman and Master Plumbing licenses, has taught OSHA for more than nine years, and is experienced in leading trade teams, managing demanding construction schedules, and upholding high safety standards.

Larissa brings a diverse background in the construction industry, with experience in design, estimating, project coordination, purchasing, subcontractor management, and compliance. She began her career as a Kitchen and Bath Designer before transitioning into construction operations, where she coordinated subcontractors, managed procurement, supported bidding, and assisted projects from preconstruction through completion.

Her current responsibilities include estimating, quantity takeoffs, purchasing, project coordination, office administration, and contractor compliance. She also manages the company’s ISNetworld RAVS program, coordinating safety documentation, training records, certifications, and compliance submissions to maintain contractor prequalification requirements.
